GOD DEFINITELY HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR

Well our flight from San Diego to San Francisco was....interesting. We had quite the merry travelers with us, 4 drinks in a 90 minute period (not us them) and we learned all sorts of new things. We are quite the site with 8 of us, 24 LARGE checked bags, 8 carry-on medium bags & various small purses. Tim has been quite the handy muscle man.

God's humor shown brightly this evening. We had to manage all those bags out of baggage claim, up an elevator, out across traffic and to the curb to await our shuttle to the Hilton....we thought. After one shuttle came, it was completely full so we asked the driver to phone ahead for another shuttle. There were just a couple of other Hilton people waiting with us curbside. After 45 minutes it started misting out and we saw our other shuttle. When he came Shannon explained how long we had been waiting and how much we had, well that did not deter our driver allowing everyone else ahead of us to the point there wasn't room for us anymore. The driver said it would be 6-7 minutes until the next shuttle came. We even called the hotel to confirm they were still coming, they did, we loaded via our FBC assembly line, got to the Hilton, unloaded via our assembly line (we are getting really good by this time, TEAMWORK). We see Shannon talking with the front desk man, we walk in and long story short.....ready for this......we're at the WRONG hotel!

The Hilton gentleman was amazing, we called the Doubletree, where we found out we were staying, called them and asked if they would PLEASE come and get us and they said they couldn't accomodate us, they ran a certain route and wouldn't deter from that. We explained our dilemma and the answer was still a "no". Well, I guess, seeing our distress, our fine Hilton man called their driver and they took us to the Doubletree via their own (the Hilton's) airport shuttle, up to the Doubletree's door. After the assembly line, the discussing the misunderstanding to the hotel manager, we will be having free breakfast tomorrow morning.

The cookies are AMAZING Here!

Our trip, the 1st day.....Good Night all!
