Monday Evening

Hello Everyone,

Today has to be the most emotional of all, leaving the children here although we know that the nannies love them, it's still hard to go knowing you may never see them again. I will try to post more tomorrow, but we are traveling 5 hours by bus, then getting on a plane to Beijing, check into hotel and collapse. Anyone ever heard the saying, "New York never sleeps?" Well, that goes for China also, their city here in ChenZhou comes alive after dark, of course there are the constant horns, we are next to what's called a Hyper-Mart which is like a Wal-Mart except on 4 different levels and play some really really bad music all hours of the night. Firecrackers go off about 5 - 6 am every morning on the half hour & then some. We saw a funeral that was also celebrated with firecrackers, speaking of which, it's 9:30 right now & there's yet more firecrackers going off. Carmen is sleeping right through them, she's exhausted, we walked probably close to 3 hours today, but we did eat at a McDonalds which was pretty good.

Write more tomorrow, goodnight, 5 comes very early here.
